I believe that Yoga is suitable for Every Body and every ability. The benefit of Online Private Instruction is that I can lead and design a practice completely just for you-based on your needs and restrictions-and help you build a safe practice in the comfort of your own home. As your private yoga instructor, I can break down each posture step by step and personally show you how to safely access it, while mindfully working with your body and where you are at. This can help improve your form and help you build a strong foundation for your practice.
Another benefit is that my attention is fully on you and your practice. Our sessions can be as interactive as you like, knowing you can ask questions in real time. Together we can work towards goals of building strength and increasing balance and flexibility; reducing stress; improve breathing and respiratory health; reducing inflammation; establish a meditation practice, amongst other benefits.
While we navigate through the days of Covid-19 and the risk of practicing in a community space is too great, in home practice one on one, is a wonderful way to feel connection to yourself, another human, and to the spiritual part of who we are.
I credit my Yogic journey with healing not only my physical body from several car accidents and a fall at 16 that terribly affected my spine and vertebrae, but also my gut health. Learning how to move the body in safe ways has incredible benefits and include: proper stretching of muscles, increasing blood flow, improving coordination and balance, lubrication of our fascia, pain reduction, better sleep habits, reduction of stress, more energy, as well as improving digestion and gut health.
I began teaching in 2016 and have gone through several Teacher Trainings and Advanced Yogic Studies. I am a certified 200 E-RYT (Experienced Yoga Teacher with over 1,00 hours of teaching) 500 RYT (300 extra hours of Advanced Studies to become a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher), and a Level One Kundalini Instructor. I teach numerous styles of Yoga including Kundalini, Gentle, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Trauma Informed Yoga, as well as strength based power classes. Upon scheduling your session, we will have a brief conversation before your session to discuss injuries and concerns and goals, so that your session is properly created with your body and needs in mind. And there is no need to worry if you have the right props, we can use things you already have in your home.
I use Zoom for online classes, so each class will be recorded so that you can practice it anytime you want.
